it's for your own good

It's for Your Own Good is a design justice project created to question and satirize the measures women take to ensure their safety in public, to challenge the public normalization or the default acceptance of women’s adoption of safety rituals.

The project takes the form of a series of four objects featuring angry dolls incorporated with ceramic pieces that represent the rituals, each accompanied by an illustrated card with a phrase intended to initiate conversations, to meet my objective of fostering dialogue about the issue.
