Wit-nest is a project consisting of a “bird food & nesting material dispenser set’ and a corresponding app that encourages bird watching, photo journaling, species identification, and education. Hoping to "witness" the recover of nature and bird habitats.
This project aims to evoke a sense of empathy in the mass by educating oneself in order to raise awareness, understand bird species, encourage individuals to making small contributions to protect their local birds’ habitats.
The Wit-nest app and bird helping station encourages people to communicate and share their knowledges on birds while the the profits will go to authorized bird protection shelters and rescue communities for the species in special needs.
The kit and application aim to improve both the environmental and physical wellbeing of birds around the globe. Hoping to cultivate public knowledge on bird protection but also provide the option of physically being able to help improve their native birds’ living conditions.
